Moisson Montreal Mission

Every day for the last 30 years, Moisson Montréal has fought for a fundamental right, sufficient food with access to a variety of nutritious and quality food.

Moisson Montréal's mission is summarized as follows:

• Ensure an optimal food supply to community organizations serving Montreal's people in difficulty.
• Participate in the development of sustainable solutions promoting food safety.
• Their involvement in the community is expressed through three components:
  • Food Bank: Collect and distribute free food and essential items throughout the year to Montreal support groups.
  • Sustainability: Contribute to the implementation of sustainable solutions favoring the autonomy of people in difficulty.
  • Advocacy: Raise awareness within the population and concerned authorities on hunger and poverty issues.

SAFEC supports and encourages the fundamental mission of this organization and shares the same values: Respect, integrity, equality, mutual assistance and commitment.
