Governmental and private support

Assistance programs offered by government and private organizations are numerous and varied. An increasing number of private organizations (businesses, foundations, investor groups, angel investors, etc.) have begun offering funds to finance Canadian business projects.

To date, we have compiled over 4,000 financial and non-financial assistance programs available to Quebec business and over 1,200 programs available to Ontario businesses.

Of this total, over 1828 programs targeting Quebec businesses are still valid. We also estimate that approximately 850 programs are still valid for Ontario businesses and are currently compiled in our database.

Government organizations offer most of these programs and many others are managed by private organizations that offer, for the most part, non-traditional financing to businesses.

In 2013, we will continue to integrate into our database programs from the Ontario and Federal governments.

When we finish integrating Ontario programs, we estimate that the number of programs available to Ontario businesses to reach 1,200 to 1,500 programs.

By using the technology we are currently developing, we believe we can integrate all the programs for businesses across Canada within 2 to 3 years.

We believe that the number of programs to be included in our database will reach 10,000 to 12,000.
